The Cybill Shepherd Interview – Cybill Shepherd, the outspoken actress from the television series “Moonlighting,” moonlights on the stage of a dinner theater, and, while eating a light snack in “the green room” backstage, talks about her awful experience of working with actor Robert DeNiro in the movie “Taxi Driver” (“He was terrifying”), while also reflecting on the rather “bizarre circumstances” surrounding the movie and John Hinckley’s strange fascination with “the Jodie Foster character” who was really her. She also talks about the now famous nude scene in “The Last Picture Show” (“It was a real drag”), her “affair” with Peter Bogdanovich (during which time she inadvertently picked up a fork from the table and threw it at the interviewer), going into business with Playboy’s Hugh Hefner, her legal suit against Playboy over the use of “grainy, unprofessional pictures” of her in their publication and the choice of her unusual name, Cybill (“My folks thought I’d be a boy”).
